this blogs name has been changed to squid inc. as well as the banner! i loved the old "life in the valley" but i will hopefully never ever reside in allendale michigan ever again! therefor i have no reason to call my blog "life in the valley" =). i will continue going to gv but i have moved out of my on campus apartment and will be moving into a house in july! sweet, i'm totally stoked.
so i had to change my blogs name. and this is what i came up with. actually i didn't, my boyfriend did. it is based on the nickname he likes to call me: squid. this is because he likes to point out that i have no bones or muscle, just tentacles so he calls. and since squid's ink, he calls me that too from time to time. now everybody calls me squid, and by everyone i mean my roommate nay nay.
anyways, at dinner yesterday (i went to outback steakhouse for the first time, and had my very first onion blossom, mmmmm) we were talking about the obama tee-shirts a made like forever ago, and he suggested that if a started a business it should be called "squid inc. squid i n c period" as he put it. clever no? alli thought it was a good idea and so do i. i think i am going to screen print that into all my pictures from now on.
