new duds

me and cher went shopping at tarjay the other day. as we are looking at clothes i say how much i really want a boyfriend cardigan but we can't find any. after trying on a few things we head to the shoes and then decide to find my mom and head out, and as we are making our way back to the front of the store what do we see? BOYFRIEND CARDIGANS. but there is a catch. they are in the maternity section. no matter. when life gives you lemons, you take the xs cardi and say dope. and since i got some meds for my impetigo i had a ten dollar gift certificate from the pharmacy for filling out a new prescription, i gleefully purchased my maternity boyfriend cardi, and a purple tee.later that night i head over to my friend hanna's house. i don't know how hanna got the special skill of finding the best garage sales, and the dopest clothes at thrift stores, but if she figured out how to bottle it up and sell it as a magical serum you dump in your tea and drink so that you too can find the coolest clothes, then she would be a millionaire. she found these boots along with a tan pair at a garage sale, and i guess she got them for free. i somehow convinced her to let me "borrow" them for awhile. i am hoping she will forget about them after awhile. especially because i purchased some grey knee socks to wear with them from forever twenty one. here are all my duds put together. the only problem is what to wear on the bottom. of course in the winter i can wear my skinny jeans, but in the fall i would really like my socks to be seen peeking above my boots. something that you might see from toast in the fall. something british-y. so i came up with two ideas.
my mom didn't seem to like the first version a whole lot, but i think the second one looks a bit librian, or school teacher-y, especially with the bun. any thoughts or ideas?
